PREPARING YOUR HOME FOR AN OPEN HOUSE
The sale of a home can be a stressful and busy time for any homeowner -- all the more reason to work closely with your Valente Real Estate professional if you are planning an open house.

Your best approach is to ask as many questions as possible about what you need to do to prepare, as well as making sure you understand what occurs during an open house.

Below are some examples of questions you might want to ask your Salesperson:
1) Do I need to leave during the open house?
2) Will attendees at the Open house be asked to supply their names and contact information?
3) Will all attendees be escorted throughout the home?
4) Will the number of attendees be limited to ensure all are escorted personally?
5) Should attendees be allowed to photograph the home's interior?

Below are some steps you can take to prepare for an Open House:
1) Ensure your pets have a place to go during the Open House
2) Remove small valuables from view
3) Remove medications from all rooms
4) Keep your bills, credit cards and other personal information out of view
5) Consider removing personal items (such as photographs) before any Open House or showing.

By following the above steps (and any others your Valente Salesperson advises) your Open House will be completed without a hitch!
